Looking to hone your chops, expand your horizons, or just have fun? Inside Music Academy’s Chamber Music School is held at the First Baptist Church, across the street from Oregon State University in the heart of Corvallis, Oregon. The facility has large, bright rooms and is conveniently and centrally located.

This six-week session is for string players of all levels. Participants will be placed in small chamber groups with students of the same level. The session will include lessons (coaching), score-study, history, rehearsal techniques and a final concert open to the public.

Who: violin, viola and cello players ages 7 to adult

When: 6 Wednesdays, 4-6 PM (your group will meet either 4-5 or 5-6) Starting September 13 and ending October 18.

Where: First Baptist Church, Corvallis

Cost: $165 including facilities fee

Lead by experienced educators and performers Dr. Jason Duckles and Anthea Kreston, participants rehearse and receive coaching every week on a preselected work. Additional faculty are revered teachers from the Willamette Valley. These include Jessica Lambert, Annissa Boulder, Bettine Zimmerman, Kimberly Drapek, Abigail Stoughton as well as guest teachers from Eugene and Salem.
