Are you a classical musician over age 21? Busy during the day with your life, but craving some fun chamber music during the summer? This workshop is for you. 6:30-8:30 PM July 7,8,9 and 10, and a garden concert on Friday the 11th of July. We give musicians a place to learn the art of chamber music in a relaxed and fun environment. Social, entertaining and maybe even a little silly. Daily coaching from world-renowned faculty. During our two hours together, you will have two different pieces, play with the faculty, as well as play in the large group orchestra and sight-reading, Held in downtown Corvallis, in the heart of the Willamette Valley.
Open to individuals and pre-formed groups.
Strings, flute, oboe, and clarinet.

Schedule
6:30-7:15 group one - coaching and group practice
7:15-7:45 snacks and large ensemble
7:45-8:30 group two - coaching, sightreading and group practice

Tuition
$100, all-inclusive
Corvallis is a beautiful college town with plenty of hiking trails, restaurants, evening activities such as the Majestic Theatre and the PRAX Center, and many small pubs.
The camp is located in downtown, walking distance to bakeries, shops, and museums.

Adult Participants
There will be time for sight-reading in addition to our regular schedule of rehearsals and coaching. At the end of every day there is an optional 5 minute “group flash” where you can share your work in an informal recital.
We welcome all strings, flute, oboe, and clarinet.
Music ranges from Baroque to Contemporary. Participants come from a wide variety of backgrounds, from retired professionals, music educators, to recent college graduates.

Faculty
Faculty for the 2025 IMA Chamber Music Workshop are internationally-renowned. Headed by Curtis-trained violinist Anthea Kreston and Cellist Jason Duckles, who have toured with Yo-Yo Ma.
Faculty have taught at the University of Oregon, the Queen Elizabeth in Brussels, Curtis, and Wesleyan University.
